Laurie Thomas Mitchell  

Vice President, Operations

Laurie is Vice President of Operations and joined Common Sense Solutions in 2005. She manages bookkeeping for Common Sense Solutions’ clients which includes updating and reconciling accounts, bill pay and cash flow analysis. In addition, she obtains and organizes tax documents to provide to clients’ CPAs. For corporate clients, Laurie handles payroll. What she enjoys most about her work is helping clients with their bookkeeping so they can enjoy their day-to-day lives without the worry of receiving and paying bills.

Laurie received her Associate in Education Degree from Young Harris College and then earned a Bachelor in Business Administration from Georgia State University. Prior to Common Sense Solutions, she worked at Mirant Corporation in the real estate and procurement departments. She also owned a retail boutique for several years. Laurie and her husband live in Conyers with their two sons. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
