Vivian has 38 years of experience managing trusts, estates and other financial assets for high net worth families and individuals. Prior to founding Common Sense Solutions in 2001, she worked in the private wealth management departments at several of Atlanta's top providers. Vivian began her career at what is now Wells Fargo, earning the prestigious Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) credential in 1992. After 14 months of forming a new division with Bank of America, Vivian joined SunTrust Bank Wealth Management as an Assistant Vice President where she managed more than $122 million in trust assets. She then held positions with increased responsibility at SouthTrust Bank and First Union.
Vivian has provided private fiduciary services since 1998 and founded Common Sense Solutions in 2001 with the goal of providing trust and estate services to wealthy families as well as serving and protecting elderly and disabled individuals who need help managing their monetary affairs. Vivian’s mission is to combine the internal controls and safeguards of a bank trust department with an emphasis on honesty, accountability, confidentiality and fiduciary duty to serve the best interests of her clients. She has steadily grown the Common Sense Solutions to its current size, managing the cash flow from approximately $300 million in client assets.
Vivian earned a Bachelor in Accounting Degree from Georgia State University and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Trust School and National Graduate Trust School housed at Northwestern University. She is active in fiduciary law seminars and conferences and is a frequent speaker on financial matters. Vivian is a former board member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers, an organization that she helped establish; Lifespan Resources; and Breakthru House. She enjoys serving as a mentor to other daily money managers.
